Do you want to start running, prevent injuries and enjoy the process?
How many times have you started and gotten stuck?
→ Because the program started well, but it got too challenging
→ Or you developed a niggling injury and rest didn’t seem to help it
→ Because you got bored of doing the same sessions every single week
→ Or you had no one to ask questions when you weren’t sure what to do
→ Because it was just so mentally and emotionally challenging to do it
And after every attempt, it gets a little bit harder to believe in yourself. But the secret is, you didn’t fail – your program had simply failed to adapt.

What is so special about Learn to Run?
The support, coaching and community are what makes all the difference
In Learn to Run, you don’t just get a plan – you have a coach who can help you adapt that plan to you as needed.
To begin with we have four jumping off points ranging from complete beginner to established runner, but that’s all they are – starting points. Everyone has different levels of fitness and progresses differently. And sometimes you might need slightly shorter sessions or less sessions through the week to work better with your lifestyle.
You have accountability check-ins every week to make sure you are staying on track, and a coach to support you every step of the way.
You are in a supportive environment, where everyone is just as invested in your success as you are and where all questions are welcome.
That’s exactly what Learn to Run is about. It’s not so much about the plan, it’s about adjusting that plan to you so you can build habits to last you a lifetime.
What happens when you sign up?

Your program has been written by a Level 2 Athletics Coach. It has been designed to be gentle, safe, fun (and challenging)! The beginner level starts with 3 run sessions per week of about 30 minutes
When you join Learn to Run, you gain access to a private Facebook group. This will be your team where you’ll get to share the journey with other women from all walks of life with the same desire as you… to be the healthiest and happiest versions of themselves possible. You get lifetime access to this group, so you can re-do the program at any time, gain support from your community and have easy access to all the resources.
Your private group will be facilitated by an accredited athletics coach to help address any questions you have, initiate discussions about best practice and provide guidance throughout your program. You will also have daily access to Operation Move mentors who are there to cheer you every step of the way and help provide emotional support.
Your coach is available for unlimited contact. So if you are struggling at any stage, you can reach out and have someone right there to help you get back on track.
Imagine how far Learn to Run could take you
We’ve all seen them.In the park. At the beach. Even on the streets near your house.Runners.
Trotting along smugly impervious to anything but themselves, like they know something you don’t. Because they do.
They know that running helps shape their bodies, their minds, their attitudes and their entire lives. They know that once you’ve learned to run, your body starts feeling like a different vehicle than it did before. They know that even though it may or may not look the same on the outside, it FEELS so different on the inside.
And you think to yourself well that’s okay for them. They don’t have to deal with a career/family/partner/insert excuse here. They’ve probably been running since they were kids. They probably even LIKED school cross country day.
I’ll let you in on a secret, I was a cross country truant too and actively avoided anything resembling running for years. So I know if I can do it, anyone can. I started exactly where you are right now.
Here is what our graduate runners had to say

“I had never run before this course, never even attempted to run. I am so incredibly glad I decided to take a chance and sign up. Physically I feel stronger and fitter than I ever have before. I have lost 5kgs and my skin has never looked better. I feel really proud of myself. I have a tendency to quit things that I find difficult, and man, has this been difficult at times! But I have never stopped running. I’ve never quit.I feel a real sense of achievement, especially looking back at those first few runs when 30 seconds seemed like it went forever. I’m a runner now. Thank you so much, thanks to your program I have done something I honestly never dreamed possible. I’ve learnt to run.”
I tried 4 times to do couch to 5k on my own, I wanted to run so badly and each time threw it in.
I don’t even know what made me try Learn to Run but it changed my life. It’s a mental as well as physical challenge and the support from the group is what kept me going some days.” – Sofia

“Learn to Run was absolutely what I needed. There was a clear plan for the week, and explanations about why there are differences in the plan across the week. The Monday check in and posting each of my sessions was great accountability that I would never have found had I gone down the Couch to 5km route. Knowing that there were others having similar issues as I was (why can breathing be so hard!) actually helped me keep going, and of course being able to ask questions either in the Facebook group or of Zoey directly was fantastic. I was home from holidays in time to do half of the pre-program walks which I think really helped, particularly going from doing not much to 3 run/walk sessions a week. Even more important was the gradual progression through the weeks.” – Helen
“I have gone from barely making 1 minute intervals to 5km in 38 minutes. THAT is awesome!
I am also running 3 days a week and that time is not negotiable. There is a plan and I’m sticking to it! I am down 7kg and from a size 18-20 to fitting into my 16s. I’m also living life bigger. My anxiety is no longer insane. It is there but so much more under control. And I feel like ‘me’ again.” – Katherine
12 weeks from now you could be a runner too

We know the things that have been holding you back, because they once held us back too.We know how hard it can be to prioritise your health and fitness when you have so many other things going on.
We know you’ve probably tried one of those free apps before, and given up at week 3 because it was too hard, too boring, too lonely and there was no one to ask about that tingly feeling in your foot, or what kind of stretching you should have been doing.
And we know that sometimes you just need someone on your team.
We also know that YOU CAN FIND 30 MINUTES three times a week, and that the time you give to the Learn to Run program prove to be the best investment you ever make in your own health and wellbeing.
90 minutes a week could change everything. Now it’s your turn . . .
Learning to run is a big brave step. Sometimes it seems like a leap.
To get out there and say I deserve this and I am worth it.
But the best part of Operation Move is that we will believe in you, until you believe in yourself. And we know you can do this because we have coached over 1,500 people over the last 5 years and they all started where you are right now and took that first step.

“The awesome thing is that you have a support group all doing it with you, as well as awesome coaches and mentors. You will be cheered and supported all the way through.” – Suzi
Running changed my life, and I believe it can do that for you too. It’s not just physical or mental or emotional. But once you do the impossible, it will change how you look at yourself and your life. You will finally see just how much you are truly capable of.
